I first learned tarot when I was in high school and much to my surprise became a professional reader years later. I was even certified by the American Tarot Association. For 30 years I read on the fly at parties, taught others how to read Tarot, and enjoyed walk-ins at a metaphysical bookstore. I even incorporated Tarot into some of my counseling sessions when I was a mental health counselor.

My favorite way of reading Tarot has always been to combine the intuitive energies of both the tarot reader and the client. In the days of meeting in person, I would hand a tarot deck to the client sitting across from me to use while I pulled cards from a second deck. Back and forth, we explored together to discover clarity. Clients began to trust themselves more and verification was a truly fun process.
